Sunset Choir
Choir Ensembles and Soloists for Contemporary Cinematic music
Sunset Choir Ultimate
Recorded at United Recording on Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, we spared no expense capturing unique performances of Men and Women ensembles, as well as up to 6 soloists, to offer a comprehensive selection of articulations covering the gamut of choral writing.
Use the coveted "Sunset Engine" (made famous by Sunset Strings) to load up to 2 different crossfade-able articulation layers, as well as dedicated attack and release articulations, to get as creative, wild, or deliciously vanilla as you'd like.
Choose from a range of true legato vowels, natural sustains, extended sustains, atonal soundscapes, shorts, swells, evolutions, repetitions, slow bends, accented attacks, various release styles, and more...

Sunset Choir Ultimate - Men Slow Legato
More demos coming soon!
The Ensemble
Most articulations were sampled as Men and Women ensembles (10 Men, 10 Women), recorded separately to offer greater flexibility.
We also recorded some of the singers as soloists, in the same space with the same recording setup, to offer even more granular control and creative opportunities.
The Interface
Our unique 2-Layer approach lets you "bring in the emotion" by crossfading between articulations, as well as giving you a range of attacks and releases including slow bends, quick slides, accents, natural decrescendos, and more. Seriously, it's unlike any choir library you've played before.

You can blend between the Bottom and Top layers, or simply use a single layer for less complex sounds

eg. The articulation called "Progressive Vibrato" is available in vowels Ah, Ee, Oh, Oo, Uh, and Mm, therefore it is counted as 1 / 6
What's Included
ARTICULATIONS
Bottom & Top Layer
"Legato" is when there is a sense of connectedness - a natural transition from one note to the next.
True Legato inserts dedicated transition samples between two played notes - limited to monophonic playing (one note at a time)
Polyphonic Legato uses the True Legato samples, but allows multiple notes to be played simultaneoulsy, such as chords.
Scripted Legato does not use any transition samples, but instead uses pitch manipulation to artificallly connect two notes.
